LS:RP About the server

Los Santos Roleplay is one of the best SA:MP Roleplay servers I have ever played. I started playing it on 1st August 2010 so you can see that I am a new player of that server. The server has approximatively 250players on every day, which means 300+ 7pm-11pm and 100+ 1am 12am (GMT +1 ). Okay so let's get at the point and explain few things about the server.

Let's first talk about the server and then how to register and join it.

I think that first thing you want about the server is factions. If i am right about that take a look at the second post. \/

Official and Legal factions of LS-RP are:
*Police Department.
*Sheriff's Department.
* Los Santos EMS.
* Los Santos Prison.
* Government Security Agency.
* San Andreas Network.

Official and Illegal factions of LS-RP are:
* Uptown 424 Kilo-Block
* Southside Locotes 13.
* The Fiumano Crime Family
* The Valenti Crime Family
* Akuji-Kai
* Murdaville 516
* The Outfit.
* The Mongolos Motorcycle Club.

Unofficial and Legal factions of LS-RP are:

Unofficial and illegal factions of LS-RP are other gangs/mafias which are not official. There are a lot of gangs/mafias for every origin. In this list are same all garages who are organizing street racings...

----------------------OFFICIAL LEGAL FACTIONS----------------------


* Police Department:
As the tittle says everything. They are legal faction who are arresting the law-breakers. The Police Department is situated in the center of Los Santos, just next to City hall. There are a lot of officers on the server so the applications are rather closed then opened. To be a officer, you have to be level 4+. The Police Department have more departments but I don't know all of them. One of them is ACU - undercover agents, and much more departments. If you want to join PD you have to have an Ventrillo ready to use and a good working microphone.

* Sheriff's Department:
Same as Police Department, the tittle says everything. Sheriff's Department is a Legal faction same as Police Department, just that their location is in Dillimore, a village norther of Los Santos. They drive LV Police Cruissers (By LS-RP Mod, they drive green cars with sign "SA /logo\ SD"). The Application for Sheriff's Department are most of time closed, but if you want to become a Sheriff, you can own just one account so that means, no Double-Accounts. I cannot see at the moment what level do you need to join SD, but you have to have a ventrillo ready to use and a good working microphone.

* Los Santos EMS:
The EMS are the medics of Los Santos. They are a legal faction who saves people from death (CK - PK). The EMS are working in "All Saints General Hospital" and "Country General Hospital". The first one is located just western of Ammunation and the second one is located in East Los Santos, northern from Pizza Stack (Idlewood). There are two departments of EMS: EMT and Doctor Fast Track. I never understood those two Departments but let's give it a try. EMT are the guys who are driving the victim to the Hospital and Doctor Fast Track are the specialists who are saving their lives. I saw on applications that first you should give a try at EMT and then if you are a good RP'er you can move to DFT. I don't know the level of applicant and even about Ventrillo + microphone but I am sure that you need both.

* Los Santos Prison:
The Los Santos Prison are the prison guards who are guarding the biggest prisoners in the city. (The ones with a lot of hours such as 2h+ go in LSP). The guards have the obligation to stop prisoners from fighting, dealing drugs or even firearms and trying to convince them to stop their criminal life. I listed this as a faction even if it's a job not a faction, but it will become a faction soon. LSP's can RP with the prisoners all the time but never to forget a thing - Professionalism. To become a Prison guard you have to apply an application, level 4+ on any account, and also Ventrillo + microphone.

* Government Security Agency:
Government Security Agency are the personal agents of the Major of the city. They must have their Criminal Record clean, I mean clean, You have to be level 6+ To join this faction. GSA's obligation is to stop anyone on killing the major, making his way to the point clear.

* San Andreas Network:
San Andreas Network is a news station. It is located on the tallest building in Los Santos, the Star Tower. They usually give interviews, write newspapers and that things that reporters do. I don't know what level do you need to be to join SAN and even I don't know about Ventrillo + Mic, but I think you don't need them.

--------------------OFFICIAL ILLEGAL FACTIONS---------------------

* 424 Kilo-Block:
424 Kilo-Block is a gang with black guys or how some of you call them Niggers. They are placed all over East Coast or East Los Santos. Well as you can see Official, that means that they are good RP'ers, so if you wanna join them you have to speak that blackish language IC'ly very good.

* Southside Locotes 13:
Southside Locotes is a mexican gang. They hang around El Corona and if you don't wanna be their guy, better don't visit that territory. They are aggressive and always straped. If you wanna join them you have to go in EL Corona, with an Mexican name of course and show your best RP.

* The Fiumano Crime Family:
The Fiumano Crime Family is a Italian mafia. I don't know where they hang out but it seems that they are near Rodeo. I didn't had the chance to RP with them but I hope I will have it once, I mean I know I will have the chance. If you want to join the Fiumano, register with a Italian name and try to search their spot. I don't really know how will you do it.

* The Valenti Crime Family:
The Valenti Crime Family is another Italian mafia. Same as Fiumano, I don't know their hanging spot but when I find it out I will tell it to you. They are a syndicate of La Cosa Nostra in Los Santos, so if you wanna join them you have to know the cultures of La Cosa Nostra. One more tip, You have to be superb Roleplayer if you want to join them and I heard from a friend that you have to be well prepared financially too.

*Akuji-Kai:
As you can observe by the name Akuji-kai is a Japanese mafia. They have their quarter south of City hall. They are a part of Yakuza who came in Los Santos. Well, if you wanna join them you must have an Japanese name, good RP. I can also add that first you have to join Akuji-Industries and if you are a loyal guy you will get in Akuji-Kai.

* Murdaville 516:
Murdaville 516 is another nigger gang. They also want you not to have any other alternate account. All you must have is an Afro-American name, good RP, a Black guy skin and to talk great like a "Nigger". I don't really know where they hang out.

* The Outfit:
The Outfit are the first american Official Mafia. A great mafia, with great RP. You can be white guy, I mean white skin. If you wanna join like on all Official mafia, all you have to do is to RP near them. I don't really know where they hang out.

*The Mongolos motorcycle club:
The Mongolos Motorcycle Club is a biker gang. It is based by a real bike gang. They are extremly violent and some of players call them Outlaw motorcycle club because of their criminal life. They are hanging in Idlewood, you can see a bar and bikes behind it.. Next to pizza stack.

My opinion for the second thing that you want to know about the server is how to get the money. Well that's jobs, check them all.. Legal and illegal:

LS:RP Registration

Okay, so you may have been looking around these posts for a short while now. You may have been thinking:
"Woah, this is AMAZING! How do I become apart of this?"
Well, becoming a member of the LS:RP community is very simple, and this tutorial shall help you along with this.

Step One.

Step one is very simple. Go to the site; http://cp.ls-rp.com/. You can either use the link that I have provided, or click the 'User Control Panel' link on these forums.

Step Two

The first thing on this site you need to do, is register an account. This is very simple to begin with, as all you need to do at this stage is click 'Register'. You then fill out the roleplay exam, ticking the correct answers to the ten questions that have been provided. After doing this exam, you will wait a few seconds - before the option to continue registering appears.

Step Three

At this stage it is crucial that you read through the servers terms of use, and the SA-MP license agreement. After reading through this you type in the box's the words you are told to say, to confirm that you have read through these two pieces of information.

Step Four

You're now very close to beginning your LS:RP life. At this stage you should be at the character registration. This is the point in which you're able to choose your LS:RP username. This is the username/nickname that you connect to the server too with SA:MP.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you use an email account that you have access too, and that it is secure. You don't want anyone else getting access to your LS:RP account, due to using an incorrect email.

Step Five

You should receive an email to the address you provided, it may have gone into a different section than the inbox - so make sure you look around. Open the email and you shall find your username and password. These are what you access the LS:RP control panel with currently, so remember to keep these safe. The password will look strange, but don't worry - you can change that later.

Step Six

At this stage you should have got into your account via the control panel, and a strange and complicated test may have appeared. Do not fear! This is a roleplay test the LS:RP staff have created in order to find out if you're suitable for the server or not. It wont ask you any personal questions, just some details about your character. It will ask you several roleplaying terms, and ask for the servers rules & definitions on them. Don't worry, all of this is overlooked by JUST the staff of LS:RP - nobody else will be able to see what you have put, unless you give it to them.

Step Seven

After a short while your application may have been accepted. If it has, congraulations - you're now apart of the LS:RP community. At this point you're able to change your skin & password, and connect to the LS:RP server! If you failed; unlucky - but don't give up - you can always delete the test you took, and try again. The staff member that has read over your application will have told you what is wrong with the application, so you change it next time around.
